Was going to say this meme is being used the wrong way around. It should be Rick Berman suggesting sexy Borg and Moore suggesting actually capitalising on the concept of the show then being yeeted.

MS have been pretty good at putting their games in rival stores to appease regulators, I could see them trying to get them on Mac too, especially with apple playing for the games market now too with their new chips.
It is worrying how reliant on Unreal the industry is getting with even companies who had their own propriety engines moving over. Gives epic a bit too much control.
They can try and pin it on the CEO, but anyone with any sense knows he’s a patsy for the board and investors who just want to up their cuts so no one can have any faith they won’t do similar again under a new CEO.
It happens everywhere.
It’s an unfortunate side effect of an unequal society where people feel left behind and then see a lot of people who had the advantage and privilege to go though years of education lecturing them on how to live. This breeds resentment and makes them targets for movements and groups that oppose these ideas.
Yeah, but at the end of each one it proudly announces that Animated Trek only consists of LD and TAS.
It’s like someone made a Star Trek parody for Adult Swim in the mid 2000s and it somehow got left on the shelf for seventeen years before being recently discovered. That whole, take old cartoon footage and redub it was huge back then.
Yeah, that’s the irritating thing about P+, they think they’re worth the same as D+ a month with only one big franchise to their name. D+ brought together Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and Fox content before launching.
Same here, I was there day one watching legally when it was on Amazon, then they pulled the rug out from under me at the last moment, so now it gets torrented. Sorry Mike, blame your managers mate.
If one we had shows to appeal to a new audience, say an all ages CG animation, wouldn’t that be great eh Paramount?
The best Star Trek song is First Contact by Swamp Thing, I doubt Cudi will be able to pack as many references into his bars as they managed in that track.
How many battles with space pirates do you usually get into on the way to work.
It’s fascinating how quickly the PSVR2 dropped out of all conversation after launch.
It seems like it’s sticking around this time, but will take a few more gens to become a mainstream product with appeal to people beyond tech nerds.
The problem with previous vr is that the compent parts weren’t ready to combine into a good experience. Computers couldn’t produce realistic enough graphics at the 90+FPS needed for smooth gameplay, screens didn’t have the resolution and colour depth to recreate the real world, the processing units made the headsets huge and bulky.
This time it started at a decent base experience and has been getting better since, a few more gens for it to become easy and quick to use and it will pick right up.
The PS5 is selling like gangbusters, outpacing PS4 sales from what I understand, however VR is a much more niche product.
Everyone I know with a quest speaks quite highly of it and how freeing it is compared to tethered headsets.
Ironically, there’s been more Kirk’s since Shatner at this point than there had been Batmen since West when this episode aired.
Because like all the tech industry, they grew massively on the back of low interest rates since 2008 where investors saw better returns putting money into companies than sitting on it, now the interest rates have shot up again post Covid, they need to show their investors they can make better returns than the 5%+ they’d make just leaving the money in the bank. Hence the cost cutting by sacking staff and gouging of customers by price increases.
Humans adaptability is what makes us different from animals who treat this stuff as second nature and are straight into their warrens, dens, etc the moment the sun goes down. A circadian rhythm in a human should allow for an hour’s shift either way. Otherwise we would never have been able to migrate and spread around so many different parts of the world with different daylight cycles to begin with.
They’re not made for people like us who have been veggie or vegan for years and have learned to cook with pulses, legumes, etc. They’re designed for people who want to cut back or give up meat but have to break the cultural training that every meal needs meat. Also they allow casual food places that don’t have professional chefs like pubs, cafes, etc to have quick and easy veggie options on the menu.
