I’m replaying Omori since I was on laptop/switch friendly games for the past two weeks visiting family, but I didn’t water the flowers my first playthrough so I’m here for the good good ending.
I’m here to talk about games and gay shit, thanks.

I need to go back to Detention. I was really enjoying it but I think something spooked me too close to bedtime and I hadn’t picked it up since.
I never played the first one past the tutorial because I was younger and it got too scary. I had a forced PC upgrade and got the game for free and probably would have finished by now, but the whole sounds not syncing up is ruining my immersion, so I guess I’ll wait a few more patches.
I could never get into it either. People are so so obsessed with this game. They tell you to never look anything up, etc. I’ve tried it on mouse and keyboard, I’ve tried it on controller and the gameplay does not feel right, so I’ve never left the ground tutorial area.
My pup also got Lyme disease. I thought it was the end, but she recovered so well and we got a few more years together. She was an English bulldog, so a few more years for them is a lot. I know bloodwork is a pain and pricey, but absolutely monitor his kidneys over time, keeping on top of kidney function with Lyme is super helpful. Even when the kidney values are low, there’s prescription diets that can help with everything. (I worked in vet medicine too, so know these things.)
There was actually a whole thing going around in like November/December in the service industry in NYC where they’d be treated for pneumonia, but were told it wasn’t quite pneumonia. They’re pretty convinced at this point it was Covid. One of my friends got hit again in 2021 and said the symptoms were damn near the same.
Oooh I’d take Eyes in the Dark!
