That’s neat! I don’t think many of the games I play (and poorly at that) would count, like Slay the Spire etc.
But, maybe in the Christmas downtime i’ll apply and see what it’s all about! Thanks for sharing!

This is so well put.
I’ve only ever had one cat and she is definitely a Smart cat and I would argue a Good one.
It’s been pretty easy training her to stay off electronics/furniture, most morning wellness checks happen after the alarm and even takes medicine like a champ.
I don’t have any real sort of baseline but I feel my cat understands a lot of the intent behind my words and often acts accordingly, more than most animals and many small children with whom I’ve worked.

I don’t play many games etc but just wanted to say congrats on finishing it!
Also, cool subjects material!
I’ve found it’s easiest to add an appropriate emoji note to their profile. That way, I can still upvote any memes etc of theirs I enjoy while ignoring their comments etc.

It’s also such a damn efficient workout.

That’s a good point, she does not have a heated bed. Though, even in the summer she still jumps on warm laundry…

I remember wondering about these games decades ago, I’ll add them to my IsThereAnyDeal lists.
Thanks!

If you’re following them around, that’s not living rent free in someone’s head, that’s just being weird.
The whole idea of the phrase is the one living rent free is just enjoying their life while the OTHER person obsesses about them.
If you’re the one doing the stalking, it’s the stalkee that’s living rent free in your head.
Thanks, we’re both pretty happy about it!

Not a real response, but this is a very nice comment and I think it’s the type of thing that makes the fediverse a better place.

I got one a few months ago that is my abslolute favourite, not sure if it counts. Important context, I’m 40 but still play soccer with folks as young as 20. So, one game I’m defending against a young fast kid and beat him to the ball (barely!) a few times in a row on long ball chases. After the third or fourth time he looks over after the race and says “You’re really fast for an… uhhh uh uh, you’re really fast!”
He meant so well and it was adorable watching him realize mid sentence that I probably didn’t want to be called an old man.
I like it as a more relaxing version of Slay the Spire. I’m not great at either though, so take what I say with more than a few grains of salt. I feel like I can see the combos Monster Train wants more easily than in Slay the Spire, where I sometimes feel like I’m tricking the system OR the Spire is trying to trick me by offering something remoting that doesn’t quite work with my deck.
How about you? Which do you prefer, or do you have a preference?
