Mr.Mofu@lemmy.blahaj.zoneOPto 3DPrinting@lemmy.world•Need Some help with really Odd quality issues [Continuation from my Last Post]English51·4 months agoLemmy is being a buggy mess again. I tried to delete em, which it then says that it did delete them, even though it clearly didn’t. If I try to delete them now it says they are already deleted, but considering that you can see them means its just bugged. Gonna have to write a report about this and see if the mods can delete them

Will definetly look into that solution! I do wonder which of these foods would need it tho. The sugar I use is cubed so I reccon that be fine? The Tea is in bags so they are probably fine, how about Salt? I don’t think salt goes bad yea?

Mr.Mofu@lemmy.blahaj.zoneOPto retrocomputing@lemmy.sdf.org•My new Commodore PC-10 III...! ima need some opinions on this one1·1 year agoThank you for the advice, since I’m still pretty new to Retro Computing I don’t have a lot of equipment (or knowledge). Though after combing trough some old Forums, it seems the issue can be found with a leaky and somewhat krusty batter,. Will get a replacement part delivered for it next week
Mr.Mofu@lemmy.blahaj.zoneOPto retrocomputing@lemmy.sdf.org•My new Commodore PC-10 III...! ima need some opinions on this one1·1 year agoAround where I live thats a pretty okay deal for these machines, especially considering I also got the original Commodore PC Keyboard which on its own is worth around 100€ here.
The memory does seem sodered in. Reading trough forums, I did find a potential issue, that being the battery. Seems rather krusty to me, and they are known to cause these types of issues and errors
The filecard seems to be only cinnected via its slot and for some reason 2 cables for the lights at the front of the machine.
Still doesnt boot even after taking everything. Though I did order a new battery which probably will fix it

Mr.Mofu@lemmy.blahaj.zoneOPto retrocomputing@lemmy.sdf.org•Got a new windows 98 gaming PC, and boi she's huge!!6·1 year agoSeems to me that you are right with that. The top one reads data in lightning speed. The middle drive doesn’t seem to work saddly and the last one got a fat DVD logo on it so im guessing thats right
Mr.Mofu@lemmy.blahaj.zoneOPto retrocomputing@lemmy.sdf.org•Got a new windows 98 gaming PC, and boi she's huge!!8·1 year agoSeems to also work pretty well if I discount Train Simulator having installation issues… but thats probably just the old CD not holding up from when child me handled it…
