I agree your going to find it hard to be interested solely for hookups. But if you focus on what is available around you, you may find something new that you like. As well as, have an opportunity to meet new people. I also feel if you are going only to hookup with someone you are cheating yourself out of what could be a full experience. Focus on the event, enjoying yourself, and meeting new people; if you do that you’ll naturally meet people who may want to hookup witb you.

I love the prairies and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else (I get claustrophobic in places where I can’t see enough of the sky). But when the northern half of Canada is burning there isn’t really anywhere to move to that won’t be affected.

Due to severe asthma and the air quality being so bad. I haven’t been able to leave the house since Monday. I love staying home and working from home, but I’m starting to go a little stir crazy for being stuck at home.

Technically speaking I am not allowed to work from home. However, because of the wildfire smoke being so bad this year and because I have such sensitive asthma, on smoky days I am allowed to work from home. This is throwing off my schedule and routine so badly.

I’m excited as I made some homemade soup yesterday and will be delivering it to sick family members today. I’m not excited they are sick, but it is a tradition I want to get into (delivering homemade food to friends and family when they are sick or feeling down).

I’m going on vacation next week with my parents and am a little apprehensive.
