LibreTranslate isn’t AI, but it’s alright, it’ll let you get the general gist of something. if you want something that works with your local ollama, then there’s Page Assist for Firefox and its forks. you can pop it into the sidebar and when you open it it will let you run prompts on the current page.
I don’t use corporate AI. And I also don’t pay attention to liberals trying to define what an anarchist can or can’t do.

seeing as how using genAI even during development is still rare enough that it makes the news, I can’t imagine it’s been as big of a problem for them as they make it seem. this sounds more like a smaller publisher taking a popular public stance for the PR.

First of all, the whole point of signing software is to ensure it comes from a reputable source. Let’s Encrypt signs certificates with an automated process that does no verification whatsoever of the identity of the person asking for a certificate. It would make the whole process completely pointless.
Second, Let’s Encrypt has stated themselves over a decade ago that they have no intention of doing this because it would render the whole system pointless.
