solar panels or something? No one is stopping climate change with $10K, I don’t even think $10B would make a substantial dent.

Thanks for the explainer that was taking me a long time too lol
red right returning for boats/buoys
I’d eradicate mosquitos and ticks in a heartbeat
I’ve found that the world is indifferent to your existence so I’ve take the “we’re here for a good time, not a long time” approach. I enjoy traveling/seeing what the world has to offer. It can be super fun immersing yourself in different cultures. Then I go back home and escape in fiction however I can from books, tv, movies, video games. I work out, challenge myself, learn languages, have hobbies that I find joy and meaning in. I just do and surround myself with things that make me happy. Get a dog or cat, they’re awesome company! that’s all i’ve got. I’m feeling pretty down lately too due to personal circumstance but I take “me time” very seriously.
because I can’t use my favourite reddit app anymore
I hope they call the cat carrier Margit’s shackles
I’m a big burger’s priest fan, holy smokes rules.
viking style. I want to be pushed out to sea on a magnificent hand-crafted canoe. Then someone is going to shoot a flaming arrow into my canoe and I’ll go out in a blaze of glory. No one said you can’t request this and I think it would be pretty sweet. Needs instrumental accompaniment.
same, Apollo was my favourite/most used app and that was it for me when they banned those apps. I found voyager/lemmy and never looked back. I bet Lemmy’s population exploded after all the reddit refugees showed up.
oh jeez! finally!
or any nintendo game, I swear they’re never on sale.
had to be me… someone else might have gotten it wrong.
well we can’t have that now can we?
I prefer RPG, interesting narratives and “experiences”. I also used to be really into multiplayer games like halo 3, MW2, battlefield 4/bad company2 and even rainbow 6 siege. Whats turned me off of all that is aggressive monetization and super competitive sweat fests. It feels like all the fun/soul in those “good oll’ days” games just isn’t there anymore. Peak fun for me was maxed out halo 3 custom games and they just don’t make them like that anymore.
well yeah. In this world that we live in money is freedom and if you don’t have it your options are severely limited. For those that don’t have it it getting it is the only thing that matters.
jobs, housing, cost of being alive… honestly what is there to be happy about? A lot of people did everything right, have good jobs and are responsible but most of these problems are completely outside their control, of course people are depressed. everything really is just shit.
Octopus are pretty cool.
olives and pistachios
Ya its a decent start. My point here is the scale of what we’re facing. Its going to take trillions of dollars, synchronous action taken by many nations simultaneously and a complete restructuring of the current world order. There’s always hope but at this point i’m fairly cynical and don’t have a lot of faith that the right people are in charge to even start the conversation.
