Halo 3 custom games with full party was the golden era for me. All my other favourites are all RPG like baldur’s gate, red dead, mass effect ect…
Ya I can’t really describe it! It just smells like… purple.
its reagent-grade pure iodine and and i crush it up and mix it with potassium iodide. If I tried to taste it it would definitely make me sick/mess with my thyroid lol
I use it in the lab and find smells like purple freezies. Not going to taste it.
I’m wrapping up schooling for med lab/MLT and I’ve found charts and repetition to be my best friend. If I have a bunch of antibiotics or blood products to remember I group them, come up with memory tricks and acronyms, then lock my self in my office and spend a few hours with coffee and snacks just staring at my notes and burning everything into my memory. I find that 3 is the magic number, meaning I need to go through and fully understand my notes 3 times for the information to stick. The mind palace technique works too. I also like to do a little extra research, I find that fully understanding the mechanism and purpose of why I am even doing something helps but thats just me, I like to start out with the tiny details then zoom out to see how all the puzzle pieces fit together to make the big picture.
At the end of the day just find a technique that works for you, flashcards help, associations, diagrams. Best of luck!
Maybe they fired someone and want to replace them ASAP.
I was in the same situation 2 years ago. I loved my job but there was only so far I could progress before I knew I had to leave. The problem is I had to go back to school for a few years to get a certification to progress my career. I could have took the easy way and stayed in a comfortable position but I ended up going back to school to progress my career, I just didn’t see another way to advance and felt like it was the only move to make.
Best thing to do is to come in one day with a better offer and ask them to price match. If they can’t then thats it in my opinion.
A lot of people are pretty pissed at the dems for not doing enough too. They’re so obsessed with being a party for everyone that they’ve become a party for no one, theres a huge divide between what people want and what they’re doing. They need to unify, organize and take some stances even if it pisses some people off. I think a lot of people are just demoralized and “politically homeless” as in they just don’t identify with either party so what is the point? What would be cool is if a bunch of randoms ran third party on their own ideas and formed a coalition but good luck with that
Everyone has a GPS on their phone anyway I’d imagine they just use that lol.
I’m working on a 2.5 year degree to upgrade my credentials while working part time and i’ve been on autopilot/pause the entire time. I can’t remember the last time I did something because I wanted to do it and not because i had to or it was in my schedule. Oh well I’m almost done, my remedy will be a nice vacation and having evenings and weekends back.
Ya its a decent start. My point here is the scale of what we’re facing. Its going to take trillions of dollars, synchronous action taken by many nations simultaneously and a complete restructuring of the current world order. There’s always hope but at this point i’m fairly cynical and don’t have a lot of faith that the right people are in charge to even start the conversation.
solar panels or something? No one is stopping climate change with $10K, I don’t even think $10B would make a substantial dent.
Thanks for the explainer that was taking me a long time too lol
red right returning for boats/buoys
I’d eradicate mosquitos and ticks in a heartbeat
I’ve found that the world is indifferent to your existence so I’ve take the “we’re here for a good time, not a long time” approach. I enjoy traveling/seeing what the world has to offer. It can be super fun immersing yourself in different cultures. Then I go back home and escape in fiction however I can from books, tv, movies, video games. I work out, challenge myself, learn languages, have hobbies that I find joy and meaning in. I just do and surround myself with things that make me happy. Get a dog or cat, they’re awesome company! that’s all i’ve got. I’m feeling pretty down lately too due to personal circumstance but I take “me time” very seriously.
because I can’t use my favourite reddit app anymore
Is this game fun? I’ve got ubisoft fatigue, is it just more of the same old stuff? I still think I’ll pick this up a year or so from now when its on sale for $40 or something.
