It’s just a brutal game. I suck too. My main tip is to use curtains to make sheets or find sheets and put them on all windows and doors for your base. Oh, and fill as much stuff (pots/pans/cups) with water before the taps turn off.

I think the goal was to be able to physically run some version of modern AAA titles when it came out. Although generally, those titles would be downgraded graphically and run at a low frame rate, making it a less than ideal situation for those with alternative options.

It’s kind of just becoming an indie or old game portable pc to me. Don’t personally have much interest in playing modern graphically demanding titles on it.

Its more about ALL the other games I already want to play lol.

It was not easy to mod, but tbh the majority of available mods are simple bug fixes, lod fixes, and crash prevention mods. I only have one visual, which is just hd textures. So the modded game is really the same but with fewer crashes and less texture popping.

Did you mod your game?

I just started playing again. Modded for about 3 hours but worth it. I’m about to go clear the basement of “demons” for the ghouls.
