Niederländer hier. Mein Deutsch ist sehr schlecht and darum type ich mein Erklärung in Englisch. (Hopefully I didn’t make too many grammar errors lol)
Anyway, Timmermans is kind of painted as a boogyman among right wingers. They think he’ll take “all our money and give it to the immigrants” and similar rhetoric is echoeing through the Dutch media.
The current leader of the VVD (Yesilgoz) doesn’t want to anger her base, so she has said she won’t work with Timermans.
The PVV (with Wilders as leader) will never, ever work with Timmermans. The PVV and GroenLinks/PvDa are too different and they’re basically the complete opposite of each other.
And because neither VVD nor PVV want to work with Timmermans, a coalition isn’t possible. Back in November, after I returned from the voting booth and saw the results, I already thought to myself that we’ll have elections again pretty quick. And I was right lol. The NSC (under leadership of Omtzigt) is conservative, yet they simultaneously worship the Dutch constitution and the plans of Wilders definitely violate the constitution. And without NSC, a coalition isn’t possible, so we’ll probably have new elections within a couple of months again.
Exactly. That’s the entire point lol
Harry Potter. I’d be a normal muggle, blissfully ignorant of all the drama going on :)
Just looked through it and I’m considering to switch!
I was wondering though, is there support for debugging sessions like VSCodium has? And what about remote development, SSH, docker integration and WSL2?
Also, can Pulsar run, inspect and debug (unit) tests?
Why does this need 3 mariadb containers?
My IT teacher from high school put a major emphasis on online privacy.
He thinks the internet is a major threat to individual freedom and while it brings benefits, the negative effects are too big for him.
While I don’t agree with the last statement, I do think privacy is very much under attack nowadays and while I am not very concerned what other people and corporations know about me, I still care about privacy simply because I have the right to do so and because if I don’t pay attention, a dozen different trackers will know what I have done without me granting permission.
Corporations basically take advantage of people and give nothing in return and that is bad imo.
If you just want to track your data for yourself, without the social media features (like Strava has), I would recommend Opentracks.
