I read it less as them shitting on them and more them making a joke about how things tend to immediately go wrong the second you say anything positive about it.

This is the main reason that I’ll never understand it. It takes so, so, so much energy to be that hateful. Do they have literally nothing in their lives that they could be devoting that energy to. Like get a fucking hobby, holy shit.

Of course, which is why I said within reason. As long as you’re making an effort to make your diet varied, I find trying to religiously track macros tends to be fairly counterproductive for most people, as it makes the whole process far more of a pain in the ass.

This varies hugely based on location, primarily distance from the ocean. Pound for pound, beef and pork are far cheaper than basically any seafood in my region.

As long as calories in < calories out, the source of those calories matter much less (within reason). You could lose weight eating nothing but oreos and hostess snack cakes as long as calories in < calories out. Not great for you for obvious reasons, not least of which vitamin deficiencies, but you’d lose weight.

Something like that, yeah. Didn’t personally have an actual practical use for it, but it was certainly a nice thing to have.

Samsung phones used to be able to measure heart rate along with blood oxygenation. Not sure when they stopped, but I know one of my old galaxy’s had it, either the 5 or 8.

The worst part is Intel honestly could’ve have spun this into something of a win if they actually handled it properly. They’ve got over $25B in cash reserves, they could easily afford to do a recall and a big PR campaign about how good they are at accepting responsibility and fixing mistakes.

Maybe it’s just because I’m older and more jaded, but that really feels like the last truly good era for GPUs.

Those 10 series cards had a ton of staying power, and the 480/580 were such damn good value cards.
