Dislike smoking but realize that for addicts often public infrastructure doesn’t give you a lot of options for getting rid of butts. Seems like biodegradable butts should be mandatory. Had this thought looking for an outlet timer recently. There doesn’t seem to be anything in between a displayless smart plug and these ridiculous tiny display, crazy button interface things that require referencing a manual every time you want to change something. Smart outlets are great, but when you are standing right in front of something or you want other people to be able to easily program something and have a quick visual reference of something like a timer on time, a user friendly interface would really be nice.

Every Goddamm time. Notably this still tends to be a painful experience in my hands, and I find crap that the reinstall screwed up for months.

That’s a little hilarious. I especially like the part that that took 30s, but you stuck it out with the rogue until the end of the day.

The core 1 is a pretty iterative, not so huge leap from the mk4s which was a little hop from the Mk4. I don’t think there’s too much drastic new tech to worry about and Prusa has a solid reputation for both testing and support. I’d argue safe to pull trigger now. I think Bambu is a stain on the 3d printing world personally but that’s a philosophical argument not a performance review.

And when you get really fed up with this bullshit and look for a way out, there aren’t a lot of great options that medical training allows for but still pays med school debts. Guess what one of the few options is? Working for an insurance company and helping them deny claims. Fuuuuhhcck
