I pay a lot in taxes because I earn a lot. I earn a lot because I work hard and I was lucky (had the right opportunities, enjoyed work that is well compensated by capitalism, etc). I don’t care paying high taxes

Fibre access is not evenly distributed, some places only have satellite access as an option. Meanwhile Rogers just ran fibre down our road so now we have the option to use Bell or Rogers.

AFAIK, you can’t enter the UK using your Canadian passport if you’re a British citizen. You need to enter the UK using a British passport as a British citizen. I have Australian, Canadian, British, and Irish citizenship. It’s a lot in passport fees.

Being conceived

I’m English born, grew up in Australia, and I am now a naturalized Canadian. If someone said they were British I wouldn’t think they were referring to ethnicity. The US has a unique and unhealthy perspective on ethnicity and race. I hope that a naturalized immigrant to the UK would consider themselves British.
