Firstly you could read user names before going off, I was simply asking a question that Im unwilling to buy the game to answer.

I haven’t played or watched Balataro but from the description on steam
You’re going to need every edge you can get in order to reach the boss blind, beat the final ante and secure victory.
Unless ante here is referring to something else it seems it does have them?
Like most fandom types gamers who make gaming their whole identity are prone to over reaction.
You just need to look at the insanity of the pro-shipping vs anti-shipping fandom ‘wars’ for another example lol
My response was all in good fun ;)
As a gamer, fuck you, funkos are for freaks who watch tv and have a Live. Laugh. Love. Doormat.
Ahh yes comments so deserving of being deleted or edited by hyper sensitive authoritarians such as
What do you not like about it?
my different opinion on how disagreements should be done
Let me guess, all people should disagree the still unspecified way that you alone are aware of, so anything and everything remains free for you to censor because you made a post?
You’re going to have a bad time on the internet snowflake.
I’m gonna open an issue so Lemmy lets OPs edit and delete comments on their posts. The amount of argument on here is too bad for a standard centralized moderation model.
LMAO you’re waaay too thin skinned to be given that sort of power. There is just some polite discussion of Factorio’s graphics going on.
You should probably just leave Lemmy if you’re that hyper sensitive to any form of disagreement.
Let me guess, a hype article with zero benchmarks.
I received a refund in 2018 though they have since tried changing their EULA and TOS to make it harder, they have no legal standing to refuse a refund to Australian customers.
I was refunded for around $750 USD IIRC and at one point was in email contact with Will Leverett prior to my refund being approved.
Hardly a comparison worth making when there are no benchmarks.
It’s endlessly amusing to me that people come into a post about adhd and then downvote anyone who explains their experience.
I struggled all through school with math classes (which I still passed) and it turns out Im actually extremely good at math. I just didn’t realise it until I was programming video games.
I was working on machine learning in games in 2009.
All this to say, the education system doesn’t deal well with people who think differently.
If Im getting it correct every time it is altered then clearly it isn’t an issue.
There is no way you are doing calculus and functions and relations in your head.
That is an assumption you aren’t really in a position to make.
If I arrive at the correct answer every single time then I clearly understand the principles.
That’s just punitive damages awarded by the court and also isn’t unusual.
In what way is Nintendo guilty?
That’s hardly unique when damages exceed what a person can pay, wage garnishing is actually relatively common.
Nintendo also gave Gary Bowser a warning and he signed an agreement saying he would stop his illegal activities… and then he continued anyway.
They gave him an out at no cost and instead he landed himself in prison because he fucked around and found out.

In video games development, and more broadly in software development, Alpha state refers to a feature incomplete and largely untested state and is unrelated to internal/external sales, review, testing or release.
Alpha software is not thoroughly tested by the developer before it is released to customers.
While outside of recent trends, particularly in crowd funded games development, alpha releases to customers for paid software are less common they do occur and don’t have any bearing on the alpha state of the software.
In general, external availability of alpha software is uncommon for proprietary software, while open source software often has publicly available alpha versions.
Further
A feature-complete (FC) version of a piece of software has all of its planned or primary features implemented but is not yet final due to bugs, performance or stability issues. This occurs at the end of alpha testing in development.
And for Beta
Beta, named after the second letter of the Greek alphabet, is the software development phase following alpha. A beta phase generally begins when the software is feature-complete but likely to contain several known or unknown bugs
I am both a qualified software developer, and have worked in the video games industry. I hope you have learnt something.
The industry definitions of alpha/beta disagree with you.
Words have meaning and you’re using them wrong.
Between your immediate downvotes and the tone of your message your response is unnecessarily long and rude
