Sometimes to a degree if it’s a really bright morning and I just got up but I can adjust to natural light a lot more easily than bright ass fake light on ceilings, the only exception is when the ground is light colored like my driveway is light gray pavers and the reflection of the sun can fuck me up

I think this has everything to do with owners and not taking the bites of small dogs seriously. Also dachshunds skew that statistic WILDLY as they account for 30% of bites to strangers across all breeds… as a dachshund owner I can tell you people see those little stubby legs and their common sense goes out the window, thankfully my dogs are nice but I know many a weary dachshund who would bite you if you came in too fast

What’s even better is he is my “second kid” in the sense the dog I had gotten at 19 was his older sister, she’s passed now but she was with me pre-transplant and now Moop’s got me

I’m past the point of no return and my body has started repairing my non-native lungs so these kinda will last “forever” the issue is my DNA will be repairing them with flawed cells, I’m the problem lol, still between new lungs and gene editing meds I should be good to go for a few more decades
