Anyone of any age can dress up and not have it be weird… but trick-'r-treating? Anything over 12 is just fucking weird to me. I’m instantly sus of any adult doing it (unless they have a kid with them).

Season 1 was terrible, but I am enjoying season 2. It’s not perfect but it came with a lot of much needed QOL improvements. And I like the vampiric powers. The cosmetics are still stupid expensive though, so I’m not touching that shit.

So my niece lives with me; she was not used to showering more than once a week. Yea… she stank and I refuse to share space with nasty BO. So I started making her shower at least every other day. It’s taken over 6 months but she finally knows which days she needs to shower without me having to remind her. The first 5 months were hell though. I do suspect she has ADHD.

If only I could get her older brother to do the same. He shares a room with his father who barely showers as well, so I think that’s a battle I’d lose unfortunately. And yes, they stink. Horribly. But at least I’ve saved my niece from being bullied (which happened in the past before they lived with me).

I always figured LTT was a boy’s club, considering how few female employees they have, but I had no idea the environment was that bad. Rather naive of me, tbh.

Pretty sure it’s done to avoid videos/posts being removed by TikTok/Twitter/FB and the likes. For example, you can’t use or say the word “Suicide” on TikTok, that would get the video removed. So people say “Unalive” to get around that. This way, they can still talk about difficult topics without the dumb censorship.

If you’re seeing it in places where that isn’t an issue (like Lemmy, for example) they may just be doing it out of habit.
