I came here to say motor town and here I find its the top comment! I only just got it a day or two ago and I love it so much I already have 20 hours logged
Hey Congratulations! I just started my linux journey a couple years ago too, just the same way you did without any duelbooting! I’ll share one thing I found out recently: apparently neofetch was abandoned by it’s developer, and now is no longer maintained. instead, a lot of people suggest using fastfetch! it works the same except its faster and still maintained! otherwise I hope you continue to enjoy your linux journey, welcome to team penguin!
while were at it, let’s get rid of copyright and IP law altogether

I use Nobara and I recoomend it to all my friends (the ones who like linux anyway).
while its true that really no linux distro will have any significant better game performance than another, Nobara stands out to me because its made by GloriousEggroll (the same guy who makes the protonGE patches for steam) for his dad so that his dad can have a simple no-fuss gaming computer they can use to game together.
the specific things I like about it are how it helps you get the correct graphics drivers and game/controller fixups at installation, and comes with steam preinstalled. I also like how the Nobara software updater also handles flatpaks as well as regular packages, its my one stop graphical (or CLI) shop for downloading or updating any new programs.
I also like its themes and that its based on Fedora.
I disagree and I think you’re undermining how cool it is of the marvel rival Devs specifically for caring about linux players. lots of other games are ignoring linux just fine (I miss gta Online so damn much), ultimately we are still at (last time I checked) like 4% max of the gaming share
it was something like, there was a viral tweet asking if women would rather be alone in the woods with a bear or with a man, and most women said they’d pick the bear, and many many many men were very gross about this in response

what is luck be a landlord?
I never spent a dime on it, but I did play for over 3000 hours before rock star blocked linux. I enjoyed the grind rather than the reward, so it sort of became my little safe-space game when I was really stresses out. could always just go hang out with my buds for a few hours and grind out a million bucks. I’m still kinda torn up about the anticheat situation tbh, I would gladly play alone if there were any way to play the same game. but story mode just doesnt compare for me, completly different game :(
looking at the chicken bottom right, only head is visible
have you actually tried watching? I keep seeing complaints from people who never gave it a chance just because it looked weird
what’s a goats meta? I know very little about competitive overwatch/rivals
does this work for any other steam games? can you share a link?
oh wow thanks so much for that thorough explanation!
can you elaborate on that? this is the first I’m hearing about rotj having issues, I always thought people liked the entire original triligoy more or less uniformly
I don’t know what VtM or PF2e mean, but I definitly agree with the rest of your sentiment. Id love to play a campaign in a brutal cival war setting like that
I want my characters to die. I didn’t realize until recently how alone I am in this, but the idea of playing a campaign almost more like a roguelite (or maybe a Pokémon nuzlock?) is so appealing to me. I want the consequences to be so real that a decent player might need 2 or 3 backup characters, where a happy ending isn’t garunteed in the slightest and the DM is fine to end the campaign in total tragedy. then the victories and successes would feel so much more earned, and campaigns would feel much less like on-rails experiences. plus failures can encourage creativity. a story where everyone just wins each task after the other is boring
this you? 🤔🧐
