Every time a pic of this book gets posted somewhere I get the urge to rewatch The Magicians because it reminds me of when Penny lost the ability to cast with his hands so the Librarians tried to teach him sphincter magic.

I suspect that cleaning the glue off the textured sheets is a bigger pain in the butt than off the smooth. But I say that as someone who never tried to clean PVA off of PEI.
I just use my textured sheet and remove very carefully - but I tend to use harder TPUs which makes flexing the sheet more effective.
I have heard people say that TPU is the reason they still keep a glue stick handy and the Prusa material matrix says to use it on their smooth PEI sheet. And it suggests a polypropylene sheet is also applicable without glue stick.

A mix of relief that things sort of make sense, bewilderment that I’ve gone decades wearing masks and stimming without realizing it, frustration, trepidation, other SAT words. Plus some suspicions about other kids I grew up with…

That includes my mother who dreamed of living in a small coast town all her life an did so after retiring, but my step-father’s diagnosis of parkinson’s cut that short.

How unusual is this and what could be happening to explain why spicy food doesn't affect me?English2·26 days agoSpicy food never had an effect on my stomach until one day in my late 30’s. Now there’s a fuzzy threshold where I’m OK, but there’s a limit. A whole serving of my favorite bulgogi is always too much.
Not names, just adjectives.
They’re even the right colors for my 6.5lb spotted lady and 14lb orange torpedo

They feel like wearing a t-shirt, give me plenty of room in the neck (I hate anything remotely tight around my neck or wrists), look normal tucked or untucked, fit in in most professional situations, and can be upgraded with a sport coat if I absolutely have to. I just have to be careful to find ones that don’t have the ribbed (itchy) hems on the arms - I want a wide open arm hole. My go to brand just added them so I have to find something new.
I have never found a comfortable suit jacket or sport coat, I don’t think they exist for me.
I don’t have much advice for pants, I don’t have many sensory issues as long as they’re not binding. I usually wear wide-leg levis and keep a pair or two that are in nice enough condition for most business casual circumstances. Then I have a couple pair of slacks that I just had to find by trial and error for the other (rare) occasions.

And I get a kick out of seeing a lot of upvotes and dislike seeing anything in negative territory. But I don’t have votes in mind when I post.

My wife always uses a case and screen protector and has still broken more than one.

Congress people of the house speak for their constituents and give us the representative democracy part. The courts speak for the law and maintain the “constitutional” part of our constitutional democratic republic. The POTUS should speak for the nation and serves and a check and balance against the others.
