  • Not the other commenter but the meme infers USSR was better, and infers people knew what was to happen afterwards. Russia was making progress a little bit before Putin. I constantly think about what if I wasn’t adopted. I’ll probably be dead, forced to fight on the wrong side of war in Ukrainian. Then again idk what the USSR would be if it never fallen, completely blocking foreigners from adopting their orphans.

  • Critical mistake thinking paywall is pay to win. There is a difference, one is locked, the other can open their wallets but don’t have to, but can. Any type of advantage that can be bought with money IS pay to win. The key word is advantage and can be applied to any view point, like ‘skipping’ and ‘easier’. A person that pays will always be ahead of a person that doesn’t, hence paying to win.

I mean, if you are trying to argue against this means you probably wouldn’t mind buying premium bullets in a video game, like a CEO, John Riccitiello, suggested. Premium bullets would be very convenient and make killing players easier! You wouldn’t need to grind levels as long with those boosts!

Rule of thumb is to ask: would paying allow me to finish the game faster? Yes means pay to win.

  • Warframe is the most p2w game I have ever played, and I don’t understand how people can say otherwise. Imagine you could buy the best pve gear in a mmo like WoW instead of grinding out raids. Warframe is this and then some. Resources? You can buy that. Skip crafting times? Yes. Buy boosters to shorten leveling and item acquisition? Definitely multiple versions. And the game still creates problems and sells the solution, the classic monetization of inventory space.

The game is very good, has an amazing story, and the movement system is the best, but it’s extreme p2w if you want it to be. At its core, It is a very grindy looter shooter which is severely monetized.

  • Lian Li is the best case manufacturer currently because almost every other case manufacturer is copying their designs (so many fish bowl cases, cases with venting and open panels in the lower shroud area, and cases with a second chamber behind the motherboard for the power supply and drives). Fractal Design is also decent, but not as innovative as Lian Li.

I have the Lancool 3 currently, white version because white colored cases are easier to see inside with normal indoor lighting. No extra lights makes it easier to work in. The only complaint is that it’s not silent at all. Also I would prefer no glass, but not really a complaint.

  • ToS and the like are legal documents that people/customers ‘sign’ or agree to before using a service or product, usually agreed or signed AFTER a purchase has been made. Arbitration causes in these documents mean that you agree to not sue the company for any reason, like a class action lawsuit. Basically if you feel like you have been scammed or taken advantage of by that company, you cannot sue for damages. ToS are not the law though and can be superceded by legal means, like a lawsuit ironically. Correct me if I’m not 100% correct, as I’m not a lawyer and this is just my understanding of this.
