    I agree that does sound safe but I can’t trust the cops with a record of everywhere I’ve been or some kind of tracking system.

      I think a good compromise would be the car only reporting you if you cross the speed limit. But then, you’d have to take the manufacturer’s word for it.

        Sweet, I can still text as much as I want that way. Because speeding is the only issue, right?

        You’re taking the manufacturer’s word for it right now. They already have all the required components built in, GPS, antenna and computer.
