#Decent sampler is pretty nice actually and #free. It provides a low friction way to create your own sample packs as well, including effects and custom graphics. There is also a tutorial video showing how. Linux, Mac, Windows.

There are also several many free sample packs from Venus Theory and others.

    It honestly has so many features.

    Including things like round robin sample groups for ranges of notes:
    “Round robins allow different samples to be played each time a zone is triggered. This is especially useful with sounds that have short attacks (such as drums), and is a great way to keep your sample libraries from sounding fake.”

    Other things of note:
    Effects (reverb chorus phase delay convolution etc) assignable to UI knobs and Midi CC

    Sequenced sample

    I like decent sampler a lot I just wish it was open sourced. If your cool with non FOSS software it is pretty dope. Good Kontakt competitor
