“Take Me Out to the Holosuite” didn’t become my new favorite episode or anything, but I did enjoy it after years of skipping it because I got bored with the baseball plot the first time I saw it.
I also always skipped VOY: Initiations and had completely forgotten Aron Eisenberg was in that one until the last re-watch when I opted not to skip any episodes.
Skip episodes become brand new episodes after enough time has passed! I recently watched “The Mark of Gideon” and had absolutely NO memory of it. Yay new trek!
Also you’re the second person I saw on here refer to “Take Me Out to the Holosuite” as anything other than great, and while I find that surprising I am glad to hear you’re on board!

They absolutely do! I was thinking that earlier. They become like your own personal “lost episodes”.
Counterpoint: Shades of Gray
Fair (counter) point. That was basically a clip show which are fair game for skips especially with home media / streaming.

VOY has, by far, the most “skip” episodes for me. Other than “Threshold”, they’re all Chakotay episodes (Tattoo, Nemesis, Initiations, The Fight). Don’t get me wrong. I love Chakotay as a character, but Robert Beltran’s wooden performance is just hard to watch when the rest of the cast isn’t there to offset it.
Maybe it’s because it’s shorter, but I don’t think there are any ENT episodes I skip (not even the finale)
Ehhh Alamaray or whatever, Racist TNG planet of your choice, clip show… There’s loads.
Also I decided to pause my current DS9 rewatch on The Visitor cause my dad ain’t so well and I’m scared I can’t take it. It might be a skip for different reasons.
Close! Calamarain
Even Sub Rosa?
