Can you really be expected to pay over $1,000 for a handheld gaming PC when Valve's handheld can be yours for as little as $399 brand new?

    Steam has the platform to recoup the hardware costs. They are selling PC-based consoles, while the rest is selling handheld-shaped PCs.
