I mean this just went public so idk, trials might take a while, but yeah i agree probably no consequences.

The non destructive filter/styling stuff seems like a massive improvement imo. For people making complex scenes with effects applied to each layer this makes it so you can easily modify individual aspects of a layer after the fact.

Oh i thought it did the motion recognition with a camera, but it actually uses a type of radar.
oh ok i thought you were considering tunneling that things traffic through tor somehow
There is a stereo microphone and a camera in that thing. What good would Tor do in that case? That data would still make its way to google, unless you can root the whole thing and put a custom OS on it.
What an Apex Predator, What a Legend.
Waiting for Sound Blocks to release.
I just wanna be able to easily hack my car tbh. (Lmao “i” dont even have or want one) I want there to be car nerds like with combustion cars but for electric ones. While for normal consumers that might not be important, it is very important for the people that you hire to repair it for you. Right to repair is specifically important for repair shops. Documentation would be cool, but lets start by not putting DRM into cars to actively prevent repair.
Also CalyxOS on FP4 is great, very easy to install and no issues so far.
The ones from smaller company can be, from what i have been told. Its kinda like with knockoff electronics products where you can get a carbon copy or better version of an arduino for a fraction of the price. You might have to look, but they exist. Here they just dont at all. With phones its pretty bad sadly but with other things you can often get dope open hardware manufactured designs of all sorts of stuff.
Its muuch easier to start an EV company than a combustion one tho. Also modding of old cars into EVs is a thing. It will happen but not as extreme as with combustion ones i think. Especially because chinese ones tend to be less enshittified.
Not supposed to != wont. Police regularily do things that they arent supposed to and as long as people naively consent by giving their phone they can get away with whatever they want i would think.
Ist find ich ein großes Hochnote
I actually built a whole game only with collision shapes. You can change the colors and use complex polygons. Makes prototyping much nicer.
The niche isnt there because its not really practical. No consumer device can run modern high poly 3D structures with full physics simulation in real time. There is a reason why the only physics sim games are very low poly. And even those are performance hungry despite custom engines.
Realistic physics for realistic looking scenes is something that you give to a renderfarm that will throw 100+ times more compute at it than the most expensive consumer GPU on the market.
Also Tuxing and TuxBox
Yep in the last two or so years it should have become even more clear for people how important federation is.
While the matrix spec seems to have good documentation, i havent been able to find any good docs for element. There are so many small issues that could probably be fixed in a few hours if you know the relevant languages and libraries.
And thats exactly why Epic is untrustworthy. Its like a shady guy on the corner saying “Hey i will give you 500 bucks if you just do this easy little thing for me. Will be done right away no worries”.
