5·6 days agoTitan Souls is a fantastic boss rush game where you die in one hit but the bosses only take a few hits as well. You only have one arrow to shoot and you need to go pick it up or stand still to recall it to yourself before firing again.

1·16 days agoHm, the only underwater ones I can think of are Subnautica and Abzu, both of which are still in my library (although I wouldn’t mind if Abzu went away, as it was basically just an underwater walking sim). I couldn’t find anything on the list quickly, despite a couple ones sounding like underwater ones, like Stranded Deep and Submerged: Hidden Depths, which didn’t look like they actually were underwater games.
I hadn’t noticed this, and I’ve claimed a ton of them as well. Do you have an example?
On a tangent: that’s probably the 2nd most widely misinterpreted Frost poem after the two roads diverging in a yellow wood.
I like natto but I never would’ve considered blue cheese as an analogous taste. It’s like beans but more earthy, and if textures are an issue for you it might be a little hard to take. Keep in mind that you don’t have to stir it up and get it really frothy like some people do though.
A lot of people eat it over rice but I like it just on a spoon. I usually add a bit of spicy mustard and a small bit of tare sauce (the natto packs are often sold with tiny packets of mustard and tare included).

1·1 month agoWas that when Frost left? I know there was some disparity between his and SW’s accounting of how the company was run but I didn’t look very deep into it.
Glad to see second wind is doing so well. I haven’t been back to the escapist since the exodus.
I’ve tried a couple soulslikes and I think I could get into them but it seems like they need a decent chunk of time dedicated to them before you can have any fun. I did enjoy a more stripped down version that I found in Titan Souls though-- it’s a boss rush game with simple and tight mechanics, so you can jump in and try a boss or two without any other lead up.
The guy who made the video (Ben Croshaw) is a long time game journalist. I often prefer written things over videos as well but he’s not padding his run time with a story about his grandma before he gets to the recipe or anything like that. The above bullet points get to the gist of the content but the rest of the video has examples and deeper explanations
I’m guessing minecraft beats it. Or if you look at an individual player with thousands of hours it’s probably one of the mario speedrunners.
