I had this problem with my cat. I had to go to the options and enable the Gravity setting.

3DPrinting@lemmy.world•What's a good entry level printer these days?English
3·20 days agoAre you open to buying second hand ? Maybe try to find a Prusa i3 MK3 in good conditions on the market. Mine has been super reliable for many years (excluding the MMU 💩). Not the fastest nor most feature rich printer by today’s standards, but a damn reliable one.

36·26 days agoIt’s not going to take long until Linux is better at running Windows games than Windows itself, especially for older games.

Linux@lemmy.ml•Linux is awesome at home, but aren't y'all forced to use Windows at work?
7·2 months agoForced to use Windows 11 at work, my brand new laptop with 32GB or RAM takes 10 to 20 seconds to open the explorer or view an image. It’s horrendous. It’s absolutely not because of the application I need to use because I literally do EVERYTHING in Google Chrome. This year IT uninstalled Excel and Word from our laptops because we are supposed to do all the work in Google Drive. Updates always need minimum 2 reboots and you need to attend to the computer because rebooting will get stuck on the encryption password. I hate it, but it always been like that so…
I bet he moos weird because he is bilingual.
Joyeux Noël à tous les Piti chats !
Very cute, would definitely pet.

3DPrinting@lemmy.world•Any idea what might be going on with this print?English
5·2 months agoLooks like a clogged nozzle to me. You can try a cold-pull procedure to clear it: https://help.prusa3d.com/article/cold-pull-mk3-s-mk2-5-s-mk3-5-s_2075 (maybe Creality has specific instructions for your printer)
I believe the original artist is this one: https://www.instagram.com/jessejarldaneart/

2·4 months agoI was exited for the explorer tabs and virtual desktop, but OMG they are sooo bad ! In case of the virtual desktop, they even made it worse with Win11, now the animation is so slow and can’t be configured.nyou can have either slow ass animation or no animation at all which makes it very confusing to use.

Linux@lemmy.ml•I just found out my fiancee wants to switch to linux, lets start a distro war, what should be her first? + other questions
3·4 months agoFirst, BACKUP EVERYTHING.
Then, the best distro is probably going to be the same you are currently using. You will not have to deal with issues that may be specific to one distro. There is enough difference from one computer to another to cause annoying issues, even on windows.

3DPrinting@lemmy.world•Anyone had any luck running Fusion 360 on Linux?English
20·4 months agoAfter exploring options such as Fusion360 and SOLIDWORKS I ended up making a free account on onshape. It’s web-based and works flawlessly on Firefox and Linux. I should try a bit more FreeCAD, but lack motivation.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Is anyone NOT steaming their Music?
5·4 months agoI buy my music for download on Bandcamp, Steam and few other places. I listen to it with Jellyfin and Finamp on my mobile (it can store songs locally or stream them from my home NAS)
