I have the same model and now realise this is likely the cause of my BT issues too. Is it safe to assume that if I wait long enough this will be fixed in the kernel? I’m a little reluctant to get in the weeds to the extent the fix requires. I’m on Bazzite, so I think that means I’ll be waiting a while given it’s an immutable distro, is that right?

9·1 year agoApple most certainly has the “Valve money and resources” to throw at the problem. They just choose not to. Bottom line is Mac gaming sucks because Apple has chosen that outcome.
Did you stub your toe?

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•work related: is this something only an autistic would ask?
72·1 year agoI reckon it’s because the question triggers cognitive dissonance. The answer they need to give makes them realise they are incompetent, or unreasonable, or capitulating with someone else who is. They don’t want to believe that about themselves so they get angry with you to shift the focus. Now you’re the problem and they don’t have to face their own failures.

81·1 year agoInteresting, but it’s not clear how controller input is achieved. No one is using the keyboard. Perhaps a bluetooth joystick?
Thanks for responding. I figured that’s what the ratio would represent, but my client only shows the net score, no ratio. Maybe I need to play around with other clients. I barely ever used Twitter and deleted my account when Musk started his shenanigans, so I’m not really sure about how Twitter works in that regard. Anyway, I get the basic concept. Just can’t access the data.
Hmm, my client doesn’t seem to show a ratio. Using Connect. Where would one usually find that kind of information?
Yeah I’m not a fan of that.
Seems I’ve invited the wrath of the community. Still learning the etiquette. Regret asking the question as I appear to have really miffed some people. It’s a shame. I left Reddit because of the nastiness of the comments. Mostly here it has been so much better.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•If a criminal says a cop planted drugs or whatever on them why don't they ask for a finger print test? And vice versa a cop could also request it to clear up everything?
15·1 year agoI think the point OP is making is less about the cop’s fingerprints and more that your fingerprints would be missing. Might at least introduce reasonable doubt if you are claiming they were planted.

And if doing something about it is wildly dangerous/difficult/expensive/painful the diagram says don’t worry. That’s some real “to not be depressed just try being happy” energy.
