No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•What is with these videos where it's just someone reaction to shit someone else is doing?
6·26 days agoi watch it for the commentary. Its also kind of like pseudoshared experience. There are also bunch of games that are not necessarily bad but which i dont want to buy, so watching someone else play it is nice way to experience the game and also see if it would be worth getting afterall.

3·1 month agoin my experience if you generate code, you should use it only for small functions. Anything more and it will just fuck it up and then its awful hassle to try coax it to fix the problems. And if you have absolutely no idea how coding works, you likely cant even tell if something isnt working right let alone why it isnt working right so you cant even attempt to have it fix anything.
This is just stupid idea that will just lead people making equivalent of this:

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•should I go back to my old job now that several people, some of them more knowledgeable than me have told me they don't understand my decision to quit it?
3·2 months agoDo you owe them something? If you are happier in your new job, isnt that the first priority? Also, more educated people arent necessarily smarter than you. And even if they are, the main thing is are those people worthy of your trust? I would rather trust an idiot that genuinely wishes me well than extremely smart person that has been mean to me. Have they treated you well and given you good advice before? Have they made your work experience better?
And finally, compare the payment your get now and you got on your old job. Is the difference worth the increased stress and bad sleep?
Though also consider how it will affect your future career, but you could also try looking for better work elsewhere while staying in your current work in the meantime. You should always put your own wellbeing over your job, that is how it goes otherway around too.
there absolutely will, and they will constantly shift what is available on where. Imagine owning most of them, and having people constantly pay you by switching services because they dont have what one wishes to watch. This is likely why those services do this, I cant imagine any other way to make profit from driving customers away from your service.

10·2 months agothat is the best way to interact with the bots, its more fun to just tell them crazy stories. Like the one near the general shrine, i told him that i was there to beat everyone up in the sparring ring and first it insisted there is no sparring in such holy place and in the end we “went in and slaughtered everyone for the emperor for being such heretics”. It would be even more fun though if they could question things more.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Why do some people have so many browser tabs open?
2·2 months agowhen i have had tons and tons of tabs open, it has been due to laziness and just not bothering to sort which tabs are useless to have around and which are not.

i have watched some videos where its used on skyrim npcs, it seems to work surprisingly well.
