Ah, is it? I know that’s the case on Steam Deck, but it doesn’t seem to work on the old Steam Controller (just tried it) and I haven’t seen any confirmation by reviewers that the new controller has this function.

Well, at the end of the day it still has a bit of a killer feature that other controllers don’t: the touchpads. If I buy it, it’ll be my secondary controller for playing FPS, CRPGs etc on my projector.

The fact that this isn’t a new thing doesn’t mean that it’s a good thing. Especially since nowadays there are good third-party controllers with remappable buttons that can also switch to a KB/M functionality at the push of a button. Also, I paid 5,50€ for my brand new original Steam Controller, so Valve kinda has to convince me to spend about 18 times that. I don’t know if this is a dealbreaker for me, but I’d definitely consider it “not great”.

It should really come with an XInput mode. That’s pretty much a basic feature for any PC controller.

Spore was Will Wright.

Very hard to feel sympathy for people who not only fell for an NFT-grift, but an NFT-grift by Peter Molyneux.

Nach was richtest du dich denn?

Almost certainly not natively. It might have a fallback to an XInput mode, in which case it could work with an adapter (but without the back buttons, gyro etc).

Seems so. Would make sense too, as Valve has reportedly already received a lot of stock.

The game is beautiful, but unfortunately I don’t find it fun to play. Controls feel unresponsive and it’s often hard to tell what to interact with in puzzles. Combat is okay, but repetitive.

Ich muss zugeben Querdenker Wal-Proteste waren nicht auf meiner Bingokarte für dieses Jahr.
It could be fixable, only way to find out is opening it up. I’d first try reseating all the ribbon cables, as one of them might have come loose because of the drop. Otherwise, if you can identify any damaged parts, you can get replacements for most of them and replacing them is pretty doable. If you can’t find any physical damage, your best option is probably to send it in.

To me it seems like any kind of communication in multiplayer games has gotten less and less over the years. Used to be pretty common to just talk about random stuff with random people in games like CS, DayZ and even Overwatch years ago, but in recent years, I hardly remember any instances of people using voice chat at all, let alone using it to say anything positive. So if this is true and common for Arc Raiders, which I haven’t played, it seems to be a positive outlier. Also curious about other people’s experience.

No way you haven’t read the other replies to my comment.

The US is a hellhole with a billionaire class living above the law, sure, not arguing with that. I guess maybe I should have assumed US defaultism for this question.
But OP made a blanket statement about all laws, and didn’t specify a country either. If your username is any indication you’re a Marxist. How do you think a Marxist state would work without laws?

That has certainly been the case in some places, though by no means all of them. Enforcement is also a separate issue to the law itself.
But to provide some maybe better examples, do laws that enshrine workers’ rights to form a union only serve to benefit the rich? Laws that limit donations to political parties? I really don’t think you can make that argument for all laws.

I guess I haven’t yet. Maybe you can help me: How do laws against, for example, rape, only benefit the rich while oppressing the rest of us?

Yes. Never liked the feeling of sitting or sleeping in a room with the doors open. Also I generally have the heating at different levels in different rooms.
The ones I’ve read so far have been quite unspecific in regards to the OS they used. So statistically, they probably used Windows.
