Ist mir ohne Witz gerade passiert. Zwar keine Schlussmach-Nachricht, aber eine ernstere, lange Beziehungsnachricht. Und da sind sie echt, die Halbgeviertstriche. Gerade auch nochmal geguckt ob sie die jemals zuvor in Nachrichten verwendet hat, aber nein, das waren alles normale Viertelgeviertstriche.

Finde das jetzt wirklich super unangenehm.

Its so interesting how different people perceive these things. Disco Elysium was so stress free for me, I didn’t really think the day counter did anything. With Outer Wilds I think its really the anticipation of what I know is inevitable to come. And then I nervously wait for all those cues that tell me how much time has passed already… And yeah, very stressy for me, haha. Still, I should really push myself to finish it sometime because I’m really curious how it all ties up.

I couldn’t bring myself to finishing it because “the timer” stressed me so much :( I loved everything else about it so much.

I just read the german version and compared them a little. (https://www.take2games.com/privacy/de/) Its about the same. But ist also reads fairly normal like any other privacy policy. I also think its in line with EU law. The collected data always relates to whatever TakeTwo service you use and whatever data you provide voluntarily or technically by using it. Thats fine by EU law.

Instagram/Facebook and its “Business” products. I truly believe Meta actively works on making its products as unusable as possible in a brower. As in: removing, breaking or obscuring functions that work in their apps. **This makes working as a team with different device types a massive pain in the ass. **

Don’t even try to be logged out of an account and use these sites in a browser. You might as well have a 5 year old write a html page on a ducking Disney Princess Play Click & Swap Laptop that is more usable in a browser than Instagram without an account.

Was ich einfach nie verstehe, ist, warum der Spiegel, Zeit, wer auch immer, solch wirklich wichtigen Artikel immer hinter einer Paywall versteckt. Das wäre so wichtig für unsere Demokratie, wenn Desinformationen von Bild und Co. auch von allen lesbar gekontert werden.

Das ist ja der Witz. Da sitzt ne Redaktion, die sich die Arbeit macht zu recherchieren und einen Artikel zu schreiben und haut sich dann ne tolle “KI” Funktion oben auf die Seite, die dann den korrekten Artikel zu einer “Zusammenfassung” zusammenshreddert wo aber niemand kann versichern kann, dass die überhaupt stimmt.

Woher weiß ich jetzt, ob die Zusammenfassung nicht unvollständig, fehlerhaft oder komplett falsch ist? Steht bei der Zeit ja sogar als Disclaimer oben drüber. Ironischste Funktion ever.

Ist das nicht witzigerweise genau das selbe, was Linus Naumann vor 10 Jahren beim CCC zum Thema De-Mail gesagt hat? Dass man einfach nur den elektronischen Perso für ne Signatur der Mail nutzen müsste, um das Thema ohne weiteren Aufwand zu lösen?
