Back in the day, Gran Turismo took forever to come out with, I believe, 3 or 4. I wanted a new racing game, and was in the market for a new console. Forza had just come out. Xbox has been my main console since.
However, if it had been multiplatform, I would have stayed PS.
Death Stranding 2. I’m taking my sweet ass time with this game. Absolutely love it.
Decided to test the Warframe waters. Only about 2 hours in, it seems pretty good so far. I’m still trying to see how much grind there really is once the intro is over.
He Is Coming - I’ve been able to make it to day 3 already, but the game feels a little shallow. Not ready to drop it yet, but will see.
Dial up internet used phone lines. The same phone lines your calls came in on. Anytime someone called or someone tried to call out, you were very likely disconnected and had to reconnect. Early on, there were no download managers that would pause and reconnect you to finish a download if interrupted.
God damn they can’t even grift right.
Passed over the rainbow bridge.
I’ll tell my rainbow pets to welcome him. Spoil him good.
Getting that download to 95% and a phone call coming in…
I assumed this might have been a late 90s article about the “dangers” of internet addiction.
It was from fucking 2015. I really really hope it was satire.
I personally never found one that worked well. I never sprang for the LR3, but I went through several others, and they all sucked.
Oh, you’re right, I think I confused the Play Anywhere as a native install. The “xbox os” is just a streamlined windows os
My understanding was that the xbox rog will actually play native Xbox installs. At least that’s what I think the new “Xbox os” is capable of that will be on it, and eventually other devices.
Insanity. Hey, let’s spend 400+ million on a franchise IP, and then expect player numbers to beat the last 3 combined.
Oh, you didn’t hit the target? Guess we gotta close the studio.
I totally get what you’re saying, but using steam numbers to judge how active an Xbox game is not fair. Steam isn’t the native player base. It’s far more active on console and still draws solid numbers.
I do agree with the grind being a bit much on the latest, though.
Forza is bread and butter for Microsoft, just like Halo and Gears. They really are shooting themselves in the foot with this. Forza originally got me on Xbox, and to be honest, it is a huge reason I am still on it as my main console.
Gatekeeping gaming brands, are we?
How dare I, a middle-aged person, enjoy Zelda, Mario, Splatoon, Donkey Kong etc.
To be clear, the base ingredients cost that much. She then proceeded to use additional ingredients she already had to build out the meals. Mildly misleading but still pretty impressive.
It’s so hard to describe the game without making it sound boring. There are very tense parts, there are very quiet parts, there are lengths of time when you don’t do much, but the weirdness pulls you back in.
I will say, the first one got the weird going quick, the 2nd one takes a bit to get to the weird parts. Watch some streams and see if it does anything for you. I absolutely loved the first one, and it’s one of the very few games I have played multiple times.
Asus is having a ton of problems of their own lately tbh.
