That’s stupid. It’s not a console where settings are locked down. Sure, you probably can’t run a new AAA high fidelity game at 1080p, nor could you run it at native at max settings. There are tons of games out there, new and old, that it can easily run at 1080p, especially if you tweek settings. You can always choose to render at a lower resolution than native too if you want.

Strigil, but yeah. Honestly, I’m not sure why we don’t still use something similar commonly. I just looked it up, and there a few tools to perform the same task, but not many and it isn’t common. Sure, you can use a luffa or something for exfoliating, but they can breed bacteria and need to be replaced. A blade is reliable, functional, clean, and infinitely reusable. It seems like something that should be making a comeback, especially since most luffas are artificial and made of plastic.
Here’s the thing: landlords make a profit, right? Where does that profit come from? There are better and worse landlords, but any time there’s a profit there’s money being taken away from people.

No one needs to “offer” Proton. It’s available freely for anyone. I think some people think Proton is a Steam thing. It isn’t. Yeah, Valve did a lot of work on it, which is great, but it isn’t limited to them. Vlave has essentially unlimited resources, and I’m happy they spent some making improvements for WINE, but GOG does not have nearly the same resources. I wouldn’t expect them to put their effort into that. Valve only did because they were building hardware that they wanted to run Linux.
