I want to state that Dismal Disney StarWars has been repeatedly ruined by garbage writing and garbage storytelling and multiple “member-berries” and the pox known as Kathleen Kennedy.

Disney destroyed decades of storytelling by renowned authors such as R.A.Salvatore, Timothy Zahn and others.

High Republic and whatever shite that they’ve written and published so far is utter garbage. Hasn’t sold well.

Skeleton Crew and the “Goonies” tropes and the reverse “Treasure Island/Planet/Location” is not a bad premise to start the series, kind of like its a “kids” show, “kid” friendly, but not “family” centric with single parents everywhere who have abrogated their responsibilities as parents by “working very hard”. Part of parenting is to provide a stable AND attentive environment for kids. You don’t work yourself to death leaving your kids to whimsy and the winds and strangers to take care of them or brainwashing them.

It is a good idea fucked up by brainless writing.
